How much do pet vaccinations cost in Wolverhampton?
We offer Silver and Gold Starter Packages for puppies and kittens, including a health check, microchip, and insurance cover. We also offer a monthly Vetsure Health Plan to spread the cost of annual vaccinations and routine care.

Do indoor pets need vaccinating?
Yes. Indoor cats and rabbits remain at risk; viruses like parvovirus and RHD2 can be carried in on shoes, clothing, hay, or via insect bites. We recommend vaccinations for all pets, regardless of whether they go outside.
What vaccines does my dog need every year?
All dogs need an annual leptospirosis (Lepto 2 or Lepto 4) booster. Dogs attending kennels or day care also need an annual kennel cough vaccine. The core DHPPi vaccine is typically boosted every three years.

My pet has missed their booster, is it too late?
Never. We can restart a vaccination programme at any point. Depending on the gap, your vet may recommend repeating part of the course.

Can my puppy or kitten go outside before they're fully vaccinated?
We recommend keeping them indoors until one week after completing their primary course.

Do you offer travel vaccinations and animal healthcare certificates?
Yes. As of April 2026, EU pet passports are no longer valid for travel from Great Britain; you now need an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) for every trip to the EU. Rock House Vets is authorised to issue AHCs alongside rabies vaccinations. Your pet must be microchipped and vaccinated at least 21 days before the AHC can be issued, and the certificate must be dated within 10 days of travel.
